GLAZING BEADS FOR
PERMA-SHIELD CASEMENT WINDOWS
1983 to PRESENT
The Window Technicians has a large, in-stock inventory, of
Vinyl Glazing Beads for Andersen's Casement Windows. To order the
correct set of Glazing Beads, first determine the proper casement window
series. If the original Glazing Bead are available the necessary information
can be found printed on the back of the Beads. The code "C1-3/8" indicates the
RAIL Unit Code (Width) for Casement Window series 1966 to 1989 (3/8"
Glass). The code "C3-3/8 indicates the STILE Unit code for the same
window series.
If the original Glazing Bead is not available follow the steps listed below to
determine the proper RAIL and STILE Glazing Beads.
Step 1 - Determine glass thickness. Casement Window series "1966
to 1989" is 3/8 inch thick. Casement Window series "1983 to
1995" is 5/8 Inch thick.
Step 2 - Glass Size is the unobstructed (visible) glass size (width and
height), shown in inches. Find the your Window's Width on the chart below to
find the "RAIL" Unit Code. Please measure carefully.

"STILE" Unit Code. Please measure carefully.
