WEATHER-STRIPPING IS AN IMPORTANT COMPONENT IN REDUCING AIR LEAKAGE AND
HEAT LOSS.
This is an easy do-it-yourself project
that will improve the performance of your windows. Weather-stripping is
sold in kits which includes the 4 pieces of weather-stripping you need
to weather-strip one (1) venting sash along with a set of installation
instructions. Each kit contains weather-strip of the proper length and
width for each of the window sizes listed below.
NOTE - This kit is designed primarily for the venting sash only.
The Stationary Sash requires the removal of the sash from the frame to
replace the weather-stripping. Removal of the Stationary sash is
not recommended.
